Clipsal also strives to reduce the use of hazardous substances in the manufacture of it’s products. The RoHS directive stands for “the reduction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment”. By law, Australia does not have to comply with the rulings of the RoHS, however Clipsal Australia has set a target to comply to the RoHS directive, as we strongly believe in the principles and benefits offered to the environment through the initiative.
